The Reading Committee is appointed to read and approve a Ph.D. student’s dissertation. The Reading Committee must be submitted to the Graduate School prior to scheduling the Final Examination.

Select a minimum of three members from your Supervisory Committee to serve as your Reading Committee. Generally, the Graduate School Representative is not a member of the Reading Committee. At least one of the members of the reading committee must hold an endorsement to chair doctoral committees.

Provide the names of your Reading Committee members to the CEE Graduate Advising Office. The Advising Office will submit the Reading Committee to the Graduate School.
