UW CEE Alum Mark Edwards

The New York Times Magazine features an in-depth story about alum Marc Edwards (Ph.D. ’90), who was named one of the world’s most 100 influential people by Time Magazine for his work to uncover lead poisoning during the Flint water crisis.

The article quotes Emeritus Professor Mark Benjamin, who was Edwards’ faculty adviser: “Really, he’s almost unique in the field right now, how much he’s admired.”
