Faculty from across the College of Engineering are honored in early May.
The students have spoken. Nominated in appreciation of their efforts to help students with career and professional development, two CEE faculty members received inaugural Faculty Appreciation for Career Education & Training (FACET) program awards in early May: research associate professor Peter Mackenzie-Helnwein and professor emeritus David Stensel.
Organized by the College of Engineering's Career Center (CC@E), the awards recognize engineering faculty who have helped students with professional development through mentorship, incorporating transferable soft skills into academic learning and connecting students to internships or job opportunities. A total of 37 faculty members across the College of Engineering were honored at a brunch on May 2.
