Faculty mentoring
In the month of April, CEE juniors attend senior-year planning sessions with faculty in their area(s) of engineering interest. This is an opportunity to learn more about your area of engineering interest and to plan for the future, including selecting appropriate courses for your senior year in preparation for autumn quarter registration and to develop post-graduation plans.
Students are encouraged to follow up on the group sessions by meeting with individual faculty of their choice. It’s important to plan your senior year schedule at this time (in April) as autumn quarter registration begins in early May. Prepare for faculty mentoring sessions by reviewing your degree audit and giving thought to your interests and goals (e.g., career pursuits, graduate school, research opportunities, etc.) Session dates are announced via email and are posted on the blog and CEE Advising calendar. All CEE majors are encouraged to attend faculty mentoring sessions.
