Edward Kolodziej and Don MacKenzie

Faculty Edward Kolodziej and Don MacKenzie have both been named Allan & Inger Osberg Endowed Professors. This recognition underscores their significant contributions to the field of civil and environmental engineering and their dedication to advancing sustainable and environmentally responsible engineering practices.

Don MacKenzie, an associate professor in the department, leads the Sustainable Transportation Lab. His research is pivotal in developing and evaluating both technical and policy solutions aimed at creating a transportation system that is not only economically viable but also environmentally sustainable.

Edward Kolodziej, a professor in the department, has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience in water quality and contaminant fate in natural and engineered systems. His research focuses on addressing complex environmental challenges affecting water and ecosystem health.
